Mikel Williamson is the creator of Flapping Happy and the author and illustrator of the Detective Penguin childrens book series. When he was young he started drawing penguins for the enjoyment of his brother, who loved penguins. Now Mikel draws the penguins to bring joy to others and hopes it helps them be as Flapping Happy as him.
